Flying Lessons
What if you were planning to retire a Boeing 747SP and leave it on a static display?
That’s easy. You’d get a pilot to fly it there and park the plane.
Now what if the facility had a much smaller landing strip than 747s typically land upon?
That’s even easier. You get a really good pilot to land it.
Watch the video. You’ll see the pilot make a few low passes before ultimately landing on that little runway.
Now that is some impressive flying.

Excellent video Vex. That plane is huge! Do you know more about this video? Where it was filmed, who was the pilot? Etc… Excellent find!

There is a Website listed at the end - I believe more info can be found there.

This site is called, rudigreyling.com Thanks! On that site there is another video, a little less exciting, but still pretty cool to watch. A Piper Seneca gear collapses a on touch and go pass. It was actually wild to see that the pilot pulled out of it and didn’t lose it on the runway. The site is actually a nice and I enjoyed reading some of the content and watching the videos.
