A tons of traffic this month! Thank you everyone for your interest in the site. August was a total success. We have four publishers on the team. Please take a moment to meet them and view their own sites. The link is on the top of every page. Because of viewer interest, YPN mailed out a $125 dollar check, we had over 4000 unique visits, over 10,000 total visits, and just shy of 135,000 pages viewed (For those that like to tweak numbers to make your site look bigger than is… over 217,000 hits). Some sites… such as smashsomestuff.com advertise “Celebrating Half Million Hits” … just a little saying to remember with traffic stats: Hits Don’t Mean Sh##. Unique visits, Total Visits, Total Page Views… that is what is important.. and as mentioned last month… not many blogs (I don’t know any) post their stats publically.

Blog The Internet uses Awstats as the offical traffic analysis program and will continue to use the program unless someone presents something better (free of course). Awstats is a wonderful program to use… it tells me what I need to know… nothing less nothing more.

Thanks again to everyone that is a returns to see what is posted next. Sept. seems to be a little more relaxed month… which is fine. I am having a lot of issues with the current theme. I love how it looks and enjoy the author friendly features, but getting all features added into the sidebar in a way where it looks good has been a challenge. I am pretty sure, that I am going to have to just manually add some code into the template files instead of using the widgets feature… which totally defeats the purpose of having widgets. Oh well… I will know more in a few hours when I get home… also, I will be editing this post to include a few screenshots of some graphs and charts like I did last month…

I needed to go ahead and get this posted, as I have had it saved in draft for about a week now. Thanks again to everyone that visit, contribute, and edit/admin the site! You guys are all awesome!

I refinanced our house, and scored a much better interest rate and also pulled a little cash out. This allows for us to pay off our van, get rid of quite a few bills, and have a lower monthly mortgage payment…. For the time being, because i have updated the theme, YPN code has been removed. In the next few hours, I will be putting the code back up and changing its location so that it doesn’t look so ugly… I have it, because I need money. I truely hate crapping up the site with the code. I lack a few dollars to get the $100 check at the end of the month… once I have that locked in, I will make some major changes with how the code is represented here. I will keep you posted.
