I wanted to announce that I will be publishing my site’s stats on a regular basis for people to view. Most site do not do this… and sites that do allow public viewing of their stats usually the numbers are altered or misrepresented. With my stats WYSIWYG… (what you see is what you get)! I use Awstats which is a program that seems to have been preloaded into my cPanel. I have spent a lot of time researching to determine which stats program I should use for the site… and Awstats seems to be very accurate and provides initial information that people tend to care about: Unique visits, total visits, and how they found the site. Awstats does this and I believe does it extremely well. Additionally Awstats provides many advanced stats as well.

At any rate… again, I just wanted to announce that I will be publishing full stats at the end of every month (at a minimum)… I might even do it twice a month. My goal is to grow my site… and for people that return here on a regular basis and contribute here… I feel you are all are part of site and part of its growth and should have the ability to see how well the site is doing on a month to month basis.
