Blog Tip: Trackbacks On Your Blog Site
Another little traffic tip. If you searching posts on blog sites and you find one that you would like to comment on, just copy the trackback address, go to your blog site and create a post about how you found the first post and publish your comments, views, or opinions about it in your post, add the trackback address in your post (if there is a field for it… like in wordpress do it there) and publish the post to your site. The post that you were interested in should publish your post or at least publish a note stating that your site has a trackback on it. To me this is like killing two birds with one stone… you are able to publish more content to your site as well as comment on another at the same time! Give it a try…

Thank you for this. I really wasn’t sure what a trackback was, except seeing it in the comment pages.

I only learned this just through experimenting with it… I could be wrong, but everytime I have used the trackback feature, it publishes a comment or more less document of the trackback on the original post that you are tracking back to. I have been to your site, looks great! Now that you know how it works… give it a try… trackback to a post here and see if you can get it to work. If you need any help… comment back on this page and I will help you the best I can… Look forward to reading more of your posts!
