This was originally a comment to Garry’s post, but I realized I would probably blow up his server if I sent something of this length, so it is an extension of his post :0)

Garry made a great point about helping others.  You definately receive what you give in this world.  The ones you can count on to help you out will be there for you and you need to return the favor when you can.  Truly great businesses, families, relationships, and yes even blogs require effort from more than one person.  As an example, check out my adsense posted in the sidebar.  Just from joining the ad cents group and gaining Garry’s knowledge of ad placement.  More can be read here.

I think we have a great thing going on our little corner of this digital landscape, and we by all means intend to expand it.

Honestly, late at night or when I get bored building sites or researching, I surf other people’s blogs and get quite a bit of traffic from the comments I leave.  I rarely leave a site that interests me without saying so.  And from being in business, there is no amount of money that you can spend that will give you 2%-10% of targeted viewers (or customers).  None.  Period.  Mailings and salespeople included.

I have been blogging under 2 months and yahoo already recognizes 2170 backlinks in one form or another back to my blog –> http://ehlist.ca/show/9298 for the reference.

Notice the difference in indexed pages.  But also notice the rapid increase in back links in yahoo.  Not bad, I get a lot of traffic from it.  Its a great resource for you to use as well.  Just type your url in and it will give you the results..  If you want the home page, go to ehlist.ca.

Save it to your feeds and keep an eye on it.  If you do that, you can see how often Google and Yahoo index you..
