Blogging The Internet Volume One

February 8th, 2008 Written by Garry Conn

I spend a lot of time surfing the Internet. Two years ago, when I launched Blog The Internet, I had the idea of creating a blog where I could write about the blogs I visited for the day, week, etc. While today, Blog The Internet is much more than that, I do want to start a regular series of articles titled, Blogging The Internet.

The in Blogging The Internet series, I am going to include links, references, and snippets of articles from blogs that I have recently read while surfing the Internet. By doing this, I create a way for you to get connected with some great content and I show you more of the things that Interest me.

What are your thoughts about Sponsored Reviews? Are you for them, hate them, don’t care? Does it bother you that Google slaps you if you get caught writing them? For some people Google might be beyond their scope for caring, either that or many just might not be aware of their policies.

  1. Tay from SuperBloggingTips.com offers some insight on accepting sponsored reviews or accepting private ads instead.
  2. Jim Karter wrote on his blog today asking readers an excellent question, Can New Sites Make Money Online? Simply put, this article gives you a great insight on different ways you can make money with a site and how to you can do so as quickly as possible and which ways are more effective.
  3. SEOTrader.com has an interesting post that shows you the countries that have the most people who are interested in making money online.
  4. Andy Beard writes another long ass article again that took me about 30 minutes to read. Jesus can this guy beat a dead horse, but quite honestly, I don’t know of any other way sum up the things he wants to express. His articles are extremely long, complicated and not for the faint of heart. At any rate, Andy take a huge stab at explaining the importance of PageRank in the SERPs.
  5. Are you experiencing writers blog as well as getting self conscious about stealing other people’s content, take a look at this post where a bloggers struggles with producing good content after coming clean from robbing others.
  6. Mark at BuckServ.com offers an insightful post that provides readers with some tips that will teach you how to keep visitors from leaving your blog.
  7. An amazing discovery for me today. I just discovered and subscribed to the Network Solutions blog. An amazing find on my part. Anyway, today they wrote a post that offers some advice on branding versus seo. Something you will totally want to check out.
  8. Yet another new blog that I have added to my massive subscription list is a really cool site titled, RSSPieces.com. The site is very clean, easy to read and I love the design. In an article that I actually read a few days ago, you can learn how to properly use heading tags on your blog.
