Over Christmas, we got our kids each an iPod Nano.  These are the smallest things I’ve ever seen that can hold that much music.  I was a little nervous about my kids having them, as they’re so small.  I was afraid that they might lose them, or they’d fall out of their pockets and get broken.

So, I’ve decided to get each of my kids a little accessory to help them keep their iPods on them, without them ending up on the ground or worse.  I’m going to get my daughter a belt clip to keep her’s on, but my son says he’d rather have the armband.  Apparently, the armbands are the cool thing right now, and make it easier for athletes to listen to their music while working out.

I hope that this small investment will keep their iPods safe.  Those little noise makers were very expensive and I’d like to think that my kids will have their iPods for years to come.  So, I think of this investment as insurance.
