Expertise Through Blogging
Blogging.. How many of you had a difficult time saying the word when you first started into weblogs? I know I did. So when I tell people I am a blogger, I feel compelled to explain what blogging really is all about.
I got into a pretty detailed analysis of the benefits of blogging the other day with one of my professors. What is so great about it? Why is it addicting? How does it better you or your understanding?
Now just ponder the thought for a second while I get some points together..
* You make great friends and share great information
* You can learn how to organize your thoughts so that you may communicate better.
* You are (pretty much) forced to become an expert in your niche, or the area you blog about.
* You are able to get through a ton of news and information at a very rapid rate.
* You are infinitely more agile on the web, learning how to use it as a tool.
* You have a great understanding of web marketing and SEO because you manipulate it everyday.
* You can see the innovation taking place first hand, because you are part of it.
