This makes me real nervous. There are a million and one things wrong with this browser, and I just learned that they are trying to complete the final product in 23 days. Even more, I have learned that they have created a system restore which will automatically open up the web pages you were viewing prior to the crash… Hmm. Sounds like to me that Firefox is going to still be buggy and here is a way they designed to deal with it… "Oh Joy, I get to go back to the web pages I was viewing ten minutes ago, after rebooting my computer, and attempting to open Firefox again after it crashed my entire system!" Nice… I like that!

The Mozilla foundation which had delayed the 2nd beta of its Firefox 2.0 browser has cleared up its bugs and has made the release available to the public. With this the foundation remains on the 26th September deadline for releasing Firefox 2.0 to the public.

"Firefox 2.0 is an evolutionary upgrade of the breakaway browser, which added some key features from its previous incarnation. Some of the features that are now present are things like built-in phishing protection, smaller memory footprint, improved tabbed browsing, an inbuilt spell check for bulletin boards and a much needed session restore option that opens up the same websites you were browsing in case of a lockup or crash.There has been a lot of interest in this project in the last few weeks especially in light of Microsoft’s recent invitation to Mozilla developers to come to Redmond for a joint development session.

Man… I can vision a horrible situation about to happen in a few weeks: Deadlines, Stress, Vista, Awareness, System Failure… What a mess! Fortunately for me, I caught wind of this whole situation over a week ago. Only reason: I was having problems! Many people were having the same problems that I had… unfortunately, others are willing to ignore the problems and still support Firefox and their misleading cause… It's junk… spend as much time as you do defending Firefox and actually research it. Firefox sucks!
