Firefox Extension - Darknet-type Private P2P
While we are on the darknet kick -
Yesterday, AllPeers released a beta version of a peer to peer application that will allow friends and family to share files and content between one another in a completely private setting!
This application has been released on Firefox’s extensions site, and is compatible with Windows, Mac OS, and Linux. The application uses bittorrent and a customized darknet so that the computer user remains anonymous while transferring files! Without a centralized server, it will be nearly impossible to track the content that is being traded via this extension.
A disclaimer though, “Allpeers is for sharing privately with friends and family; not for massively distributing files amongst strangers,” the CEO warns.
The final version will feature chat, comments, tagging, and support! To check out a virtual tour, please see allpeers/tour.
It looks like I better get that darknet forum released soon! Things are heating up :0)
