Google Video Mailing List Spreads Karma Sutra Virus To Subscribers

Google Video email subscribers, Beware! It seems that Google accidentally sent email tainted with the W32/Kapser.A@mm virus, commonly called the “Karma Sutra” worm. This happened not only once but three times. At least three separate infected e-mails were sent out to an estimated 50,000 subscribers. W32/Kapser.A@mm virus, discovered earlier this year, overwrites selected files on a specific date. It’s a nasty little virus. Google officials said the company was taking steps to prevent this from happening again. Google released an email stating: “If you think you have downloaded this virus from the group or an email message, we recommend you run your antivirus program to remove it,”. Read more about this here. How far do you think this virus will spread? How dangerous do you think it is to send out a virus to 50,000 people? Your thoughts and opinions are welcome.
