Have You Installed Ubuntu On Your Apple G3 Today?

If you own an older Apple computer and feel that the OS is outdated and old, but can’t afford to update to a more modern version of MAC OS, then you might consider installing Linux on your Apple computer. I own an older Apple G3 Blue and White computer. I wanted to install Linux and the only Linux distro I found to install successfully on the computer was Ubuntu Linux. Granted, it took me over a week… but I documented the entire process on Ubuntu’s Support Forum.

If you want to take a stab at installing Ubuntu Linux on your Apple G3 computer, visit my profile page on the support forum. My profile page has all the links to the threads I created which will guide you in installing the OS. I have high quality and detailed pictures that follow along and back up all the steps towards installation. Additionally, if you carefully read the threads, you will see when I run into trouble and learn how to deal with these problems. My week of frustration can become your two hours of peace and harmony!

Have fun, and as always… comments are welcome. I invite you to comment below with any comments, questions, or suggestions.
