Could I possibly have any more free time on my hands to write about stupid things such as Huggies diapers vs Pampers? Well, maybe not… but still, I think this is something that should be covered on the Internet. It took me awhile to compile the data, so if there are any parents out there actually interested in finding out which brand of diapers is more popular and preferred among parents, you can now find all that information wrapped up into one article.

In Google, if you type the word, diapers, into the search bar, you are going to be presented with over 9 million results in their index. If you type the word, Huggies, into the search bar, you are going to be presented with 1.6 million of the 9 million results. And interestingly, if you type the word, Pampers, you are presented with 4.2 million results.

Did you know that the world’s very first disposable diaper was invented in 1961 by a man named, Victor Mills? Consequently, it is said that he was not very pleased with dealing with his grandchildren’s messes with cloth diapers. And at the time, he was an employee for the very well known company called, Procter and Gamble. With Mills being aware of his company’s pulp mill absorbent paper production he turned to them for assistance and soon become the inventor of the first disposable diaper. This disposable diaper soon after named, Pampers.

So, it just very well may be, that Pampers is the most popular brand of diapers and preferred by most parents. Consumer diaper reviews may tell another story. Regardless what the reviews may or may not say, it is hard to ignore the simple fact that Pampers accounts for almost half of Google’s 9 million results in their index.
