Miss Texas USA must be doing something right. Texas is one of the most successful states that has brought in a total of eight winners of the Miss USA. The 1985 through 1989 Miss Texas USA winners ended up winning the Miss USA competition. Of all the States in the USA, Texas is the one state that steps things up to an extreme level. The Miss Texas USA beauty pageant is one of the most cutthroat in all participating states.

I don’t know if it is Texas being very competitive or rather than Texas being simply a magnet for beautiful women? I don’t quite see the extreme competition. Yes, the business is cutthroat, but either you are pretty or you’re not. So, that leads me to believe that Miss Texas USA might not be as competitive as one would believe, but rather have a slight edge in the Miss USA for the fact that maybe there are just prettier women born and raised in Texas. Just a thought…
