Mow Lawns For A Living
Mowing lawns for a living is a very profitable business and is something that isnt’ too difficult to start doing. You do need a little bit of money invested up front for equipment. However, if you have all you ducks in a row, purchasing the equipment on a loan or credit should be ok, since you can quickly get your expenses paid for after landing a few lawn service accounts. I would start small. I would start by purchasing a riding mower for under $4000 dollars. Try to get a ZTR (zero turn radious) if possible. Secondly, I would purchase a standard trim or push mower and a good weed eater. From there you will need a trailer. You can find good deals on lawn equipment trailers used in your local paper. You don’t need anything too big, perhaps a 5×8 trailer would be fine.
From there you will need to start marketing your lawn mowing business in the local papers. Additionally, you can print brocures and fliers and pass them around through out your town. Secondly, spread the word about your new lawn care business to friends and family and ask them to help tell people about your business. Initially when you first start mowing lawns for a living, it is a good to set a goal of making $150.00 dollars per day. This would average out to around 3 to 4 yards per day. And if done correctly, you should be able to do twice that in a day by yourself without the need to hire help.
Bookmark and save this page to your favorites and resort back to it. There are hundreds of deals on lawn care equipment, lawn mowers, and lawn trimmers. Don’t be hasty and purchase the first lawn mower you see. I strongly recommend looking at all the resources made available and finding the best deals. You may find a great deal being provided but then later see an even better deal on lawn equipment.
