Here is some great news for all you PlayStation fans!! PlayStation 3 Goes On Sale. PS3 Released in August 2007

Sony just announced that the New PlayStation 3 will be released this August. What makes this one better? The new PS3 is going from a 60gb to an 80gb storage capacity and will be sold for $599. This will also include the Motorstorm game. If you would like to pay a hundred dollars less, just buy the 60gb model. The 80gb model will not be available in the US and Canada until August. The new PS3 will eventually offering downloaded high-def movies, video games, movie trailers, and demos.

In April, Microsoft began selling a version of its Xbox 360 with a 120-gigabyte hard drive and a souped up high-definition video connection. Called Xbox 360 Elite, the black-colored system sells for $479.99.

Xbox gamers who already own the $399.99 20-gigabyte model can buy a snap-on 120-gigabyte hard drive for $179.99.

Sony would use the E3 show to focus on two areas: ways to increase the number of consumers who own PS3s and other products such as the PlayStation Portable handheld system, and expanding the system’s library of available games.

Sony would be releasing 100 new video games during the current fiscal year, including 15 titles that are exclusive to the PS3.

Sounds like Sony will be having a good year unless Microsoft comes out with something even better!!
