Best Deals on The Dell Studio Hybrid - Are you looking for the best deals on the Dell Studio Hybrid? Just introduced into the market from Dell is the Dell Studio Hybrid desktop computer. From what I perceive, this is Dell's way of marketing to the green market as this particular system sports very green friendly appealing colors and consumes very low power. By default when you think of a desktop computer, you attribute it to a bulky and very ugly case and tower that commonly goes underneath your desk. The Dell Studio Hybrid is different. Dell wants you to show it off by placing it directly on your desk. The ports and cable connectors are all located and positioned for that. Dell mentions, "Our smallest desktop, it looks great in the living room, ... Continue reading »

Best Deal Ever on Gateway Computers - My husband found 2 Gateway computer towers, complete with memory cards and lots of other things. They threw out a Gateway 2000 computer tower and a Gateway 400c computer tower. Now, my husband isn’t one to go out dumpster diving, but he couldn’t just leave them behind. He grabbed them and brought them home to see if they were any good or not. One had a big sticker on the side that read, "All Parts Work Great". But he wanted to see for himself. He hooked one of our extra monitors to the computers and they both worked with no problem. One contained ... Continue reading »

What Do You Do With An Apple Computer Without A Copy of Mac OS X? - I have an older Apple G3 computer... its very pretty and appealing to my kids because its blue and white and looks pretty cool. However, I don't have a copy of Mac OS X. It came with Mac OS 9 and it seemed very old and outdated... a few months later, I realized I probably made a mistake by erasing it and installing Ubuntu. But whatever angle you want to look at it... installing Ubuntu was fun, challenging and something to do to pass the time. Today the computer still works very well with Ubuntu... however, there are so many things that are very difficult to do that are normally pretty simple with a Windows computer and for an Apple computer running OS X. Today, I ... Continue reading »
