I’m posting this rather late, as I’ve just spent the past 4 hours helping my son with a research paper he’s doing.  His paper is one that is near and dear to our family, as it has to do with the Orphan Trains that crossed the country in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

I had forgotten how much work went into researching a term paper.  As I help my son with his assignment, I’m taken back to the days when I was in high school.  Even to the point that my hands are sweating.  I did find a great article online though, that gives students a comprehensive way of preparing for these research papers.

If anyone needs any information on the Orphan Trains, let me know.  I think I now know all there is to know about this subject.  I just hope my son is grasping all this information too.
