Trackback Feature Doesn’t Work On Windows Live Writer
Hmm… that is pretty interesting. I am noticing that the trackback features isn’t working when posting to this site using Windows Live Writer.
I really like the idea of having a blog writer desktop ap… I think I might search for something better… comments are welcome!

Really? That’s weird. So this Live Writer is a desktop app? That’s pretty crazy, I myself have been making a push to put more of my activities online because I have multiple workstations that I use and it just makes it easier for me.

Yes… it’s actually pretty cool… but this has triggered me into looking into seeing what else is out there… the post above has some really good programs too… except most are not free (free trial only).
I really liked Zoundry Blog Writer… it was the best, but unfortunately… it slows my system down bad, and it freezes up when I publish. I liked it mainly because of all the tags I can use for all the most popular directories.
The best that meets things half way is Performancing… which is actually a Firefox extension… that program rocks! but I can only put technorati tags in… nothing else.. but it functions the best and seems to be the most stable.
I hear you about staying web based… but unless you post using straight html, your posts are not as nice looking using the default editor or even the wysiwyg editor… these programs are NICE.
I hope that they improve over time… or hope that someone chimes in and points me in the right direction as far as finding a free desktop app that is packed full of features.
