This website has cPanel and comes with Analog, Awstats, and Webalizer. For the most part…. most of the time, all I want to know, when reading my web stats, is how many people visited my site today, what was the total amount of visits today, how many pages were viewed today, and where was my site listed or rather how did they find it.

With this being my interest, Analog totally sucks. This program tracks requests… and I am not really sure what that is… I know it has nothing to do with visitors because I would be rich if that was the case, such as having over 900,000 requests on Sunday… that would be 900,000 visitors! I am guessing Analog is not for me…..

Then there is Awstats… this program seems to provide exactly what I am looking for. Unique visitors, total visits, where they came from… its all there plus more!! I like it…

However, then I have Webalizer… which looks really cool and is packed full of stats…. but the visits stats on Webalizer for the month is less than waht Awstats reports in one day!

Maybe someone that reads this post can comment on which web stats program is better… or rather more accurately represents the information I am looking for.
