According to Google Trends. The word “sex” is, by no surprise, a very popular word being searched in their Google index. The surprising part is not the total number of people who searched the word “sex“, but from where. My immediate guess would have been that people from the United States type the word “sex” in Google’s search bar the most. Shockingly, I was wrong! In fact, United States doesn’t even make their top ten list.

The Top Ten Regions That Search For Sex:

4. Turkey
5. Morocco
6. Viet Nam
7. Iran
8. Saudi Arabia
9. Indonesia
10. Serbia and Montenegro

Pakistan is number one. They search for “sex” more than any other region. Here is the the top 10 cities in Pakistan that search for “sex”.

I am not surprised to see that the word “sex” is a popular word being searched worldwide. I would have guessed that the United States at least would have pulled up in a few of these “top ten lists for sex” facts. But I guess not.

What would be more interesting is to discover what other people think. If you run a blog, you should launch a poll and ask your readers, “People from which regions are more likely to search for sex?” or “Which country searches for sex in Google the most?” or “Who are the top ten countries that search for sex?”. If you throw in United States as an option, I would bet the farm that everyone would vote for USA.
