Finding and downloading new Wordpress themes are always fun. On the Themes.Wordpress.net site you can download I am estimating close to 800 different themes for your wordpress blog site. What is interesting though, is of the estimated 800 wordpress themes available, only 109 are widgets ready. At this time in my experience, I am not sure what you have to do to modify a theme to make it widgets ready; however, I am researching this… and will keep you posted. I have been searching and have found quite a few books that I will more likely be purchasing in the next few days. I have been doing quite a bit of research about this, and as it turns out, designing these custom Wordpress themes aren’t really all that hard to do. Yes, you will need a book… and Yes, it does take some time to learn… but big deal. I have learned a lot just in a few hours today. When it comes to computer programming, designing these Wordpress themes is not much more difficult than making a cake. Designing Wordpress themes you need to learn HTML, CSS, and just the basics of PHP. I have found a ton of books on that are incredibly cheap and seem to really break down the mystery in learning how to do some basic programming. If you are an avid blogger who has been depending on other people to design these custom Wordpress themes. But find yourself getting a little frustrated because there is always just one little thing that you don’t like about a certain theme… It honestly might be time to start learning how to do it yourself. And what I am beginning to discover is that it might not be as difficult as I had always thought. I would say after a reading one or maybe two of these small paperbacks, I should be able to design a theme to look just the way I want.

I don’t Some of the estimated 700 themes that are not widgets ready really do look pretty good, but I wouldn’t use them for the fact that they don't pack those added features.
